Hotels and resorts

Several outlets. One food cost.

A hotel is not one restaurant. It is a breakfast buffet, a lobby bar, room service and a banqueting kitchen, all drawing on the same store, all landing on the same P&L. Yumpit was built for that shape.

What changes when you run more than one outlet

  • One store, many outlets

Issue stock from a central store to each outlet and see what it cost that outlet, not just what it cost the hotel. Breakfast and banqueting stop hiding inside one number.

  • Numbers per property and per group

Each property runs its own stock, suppliers and counts. If you operate several, you compare them side by side without exporting anything into a spreadsheet first.

  • Recipes that survive a banquet

Cost a dish once and reuse it across outlets and function menus. Change a supplier price and every plate that uses it reprices, including the 200-cover set menu you quoted last week.

  • Counts your team will actually do

Stocktakes run on a phone, scanning barcodes, by whoever is on shift. That matters more in a hotel than anywhere else, because the count happens at 6am across four storerooms.

Built to survive your procurement review

Hotel groups do not buy software on a demo. Somebody sends a security questionnaire, asks who processes the data and where it sits, and wants a DPA before signing. That paperwork exists and is public, so your IT team can read it before you book a call rather than after.

Security, subprocessors and the DPA

What we do not do yet

Yumpit does not read your PMS. There is no Opera, Mews or Protel connection you can switch on, and no live occupancy feed driving your forecast. On the Custom plan we build that connection for a specific property, as bespoke work with a timeline attached. If a hotel needs it on day one and cannot wait for that, we will say so on the call rather than after you have signed.

What does connect today

Tell us how your property is set up

How many outlets, which POS, which PMS, and whether there is a central store. That is enough for us to say what would work on day one and what would need building.
